Welcome!

My name is Tanya.

Disability Advocate and Keynote Speaker

At Audiotism, our mission is to foster an inclusive community by sharing lived experiences and advocating for disability rights. By raising awareness of the gaps in accessibility and inclusion, we work to create meaningful change.

My professional values are identical to my personal values. As a neurodivergent business owner I value...

Inclusion – I believe in creating spaces where everyone, regardless of ability, is welcomed, valued, and respected.

Empathy – I approach disability advocacy with empathy, seeking to understand and respect the diverse lived experiences of individuals within the disability community, ensuring that compassion drives my actions.

Community – I believe in building strong, supportive communities where shared experiences connect people and foster understanding and collaboration.

Education – I value the power of education in raising awareness about disabilities, challenging stereotypes, and promoting understanding and inclusion in all aspects of society.

While I am incredibly proud of my academic and professional achievements, I believe that my lived experiences are my greatest asset. Navigating life with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)  has given me a unique perspective and has allowed me to connect with the disability community on a personal and authentic level. This connection fuels everything I do. It’s through these shared experiences that I find meaning and purpose, whether it’s advocating for accessibility, raising awareness, or empowering others to embrace their differences. My journey has taught me the value of vulnerability, resilience, and storytelling, and I am committed to using my voice to inspire positive change.

As a creator in the advocacy space, I aspire to a future where disability is not a barrier to inclusion but a valued aspect of diversity, where all voices contribute to shaping equitable and accessible communities.
